DVDs4U

It may have taken 5 years, but the Thunderblah! Special Edition DVD is now available over the Internets. Containing the entire movie at the highest DVD quality possible (with stereo sound!), the special features disc contains footage never before available online (also in stereo sound!).

It's explained on the movie pages, but I had to split the ISO files into parts so they could be downloaded properly. Combining them is pretty easy though...simply download all the files into the same folder and double-click the ".bat" file. The files combine and produce the ISO. However, this can only be done on PCs running Windows...sorry Macs (or Linux-es).

I'm nearly done with a trailer for my second film-school short. It won't be posted on this site, but rather a sister site. The site will be basic, but I hope everyone likes the trailer. I'm going to start submitting it to festivals starting next week. Huzzah!

Wha..wha..what button? Where am I? Who took my false teeth?

I've been quoting a certain show for the past two subject lines...I'm pretty sure with anything I think of, a relatable quote can be pulled from the show. Maybe my next entry I'll try something different. See you in a year!

I wish I weren't joking, but with each passing month, the load piles a little higher. Still, I never intend to abandon something that's been going...how many years now? I can't even remember.

Right now, any of the DVD files that are over a certain size cannot be downloaded, so I'm working on splitting them up. I've already discovered a solution, but it'll take some time before everything is ready. Til then, fin.

Happy Love Day!

The subject line has been running through my head nonstop and it's quite possibly one of my favorite quotes of all time. While that particular day doesn't technically refer to today (today being that more depressing holiday for most and a pain in the ass for others) I guess I'm celebrating by way of gifts. Yes, that's right: gifts, as in plural. The DVD image(s) for our first movie is uploaded, as well as the romantic comedy Give Chase. You'll laugh...or cry...or maybe vomit, but I assure you, a reaction will result from viewing these DVDs. That I can promise. Also, they're free.

Perhaps just as important, here's something completely new. It's a scene from our incomplete fanfilm, You Only Blah! Thrice. While the movie is currently cancelled, this scene shows a great deal of growth from the previous film, which is what we were after all along. I hope you enjoy it.

I'm back, baby!

After a near 5 month hiatus, the website is back and, I daresay, better than ever. After some behind-the-scenes work, the website will now feature downloadable image files for our DVDs. The DVDs feature interactive menus and most have content not available online. I will update as they become available.

A new short, Give Chase, is now available online as well. This was an M.O.S. short I did for school, meaning there is no spoken dialogue. A DVD containing another version of the film and other additional content is forthcoming.

Finally, I've been working on something that many of you will love. It should be here in around a week.

How to Finish le Saving of le World

I finally fixed a few minor problems with the How To Save The World: Making Of Feature. Yeah, there's a making of. I did it for a class a few years ago and have been trying to fix a few minor shots before putting it on the Internet. A little later than I expected, but better late than never, right? RIGHT?! (I also hate hearing myself struggle to speak clearly through a crappy microphone. Honestly, I hate hearing myself speak period).

You can find the Making Of on the How To Save The World page. I'm still putting new stuff on You Tube as well.

Let's try this

In a last ditch effort to upload newer content in a more timely manner, I've created a No Budget Pictures channel in You Tube. I will still post better quality files on this site, but I'll post many new (and old) videos on You Tube, probably first. You can visit the channel at http://www.youtube.com/nobudgetpictures.

Ironically, the first video I've posted is the No Budget Productions short called Give Chase. Why No Budget Productions? Give Chase is the first of my film school shorts and I needed a name not already attached to copyrighted material. So, that's why, in case you were wondering, which you probably weren't, but don't care, or do, but wouldn't have wondered about it unless I pointed it out, which I did, so now you have your explanation, and stuff.

You can watch Give Chase below in the nifty embedded video link or go to the site here.

My how time flies...

There hasn't been an update in nearly four months, but honestly, not much has happened. Sure, new year's came and went, a new semester started, but nothing on the No Budget front has really surfaced.

I know, I know, all those old movies need to be uploaded, and they're coming. So are a few other shorts. Perhaps once the grind of this semester passes...we'll see.

For now, here's a pic of a short recently filmed in Nashville. It's not really a No Budget Picture since it was for school, but it's definitely in the same spirit. It's called Give Chase.

Some Very Major Updates (for once...)

Hey look! The site's finished! It looks like paper! And it's on a desk or floor or something!

Anywho, there're a few areas I'm still working on, namely the new forum. The old forum was destroyed apparently, so I started on a new one a while back. I'm hoping to finish it by the end of December, but we all know that's a load.

This update is more than cosmetic. I uploaded not one, but two new videos. Study Habits is a new short. Well, it's actually an old short...Jos.h and I made it almost three years ago. I just now got around to editing it because I squeezed it in as a project for one of my classes.

This is all I got for now. The site will be tweaked over the course of the next few months and I hope it has even more updates like this in the near future. Til then, PEACE OUT YALL!
